On the 24th, Data Alliance, a startup based at Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu, announced that it has been selected as an AI field startup for this year’s ‘Super Gap Startup Project (DIPS).’
The ‘Super Gap Startup Project’ is an initiative with the object of offering an intensive support to selected promising startups with cutting-edge technologies to nurture new industry startups with a global competitive edge. Data Alliance was recognized for its innovative ‘Gcube’, a core engine and a distributed GPU cloud platform.
As the sole domestic propertyless virtual GPU cloud, Gcube integrates distributed system technology with a sharing economy model.
Unlike traditional centralized cloud services, the platform reduces costs by 90% and delivers up to 34% advanced inference performance compared to the traditional A100 in the latest RTX 5090-based environment. Furthermore, the company has completed patent registrations in eight countries worldwide, including South Korea, the United States, China, and Germany.
Backed by this performance, Data Alliance was honored with the Innovation Award in the Ai sector at CES 2026, the world’s largest IT exhibition. This was followed by the Global AI Impact Award and the Grand Prize for New Technology and Product Innovation at the World IT Show (WIS) 2026, presented by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT.
The company’s performance is built upon a solid foundation. Since moving into the Seoul startup Hub Seongsu last June, the company has leveraged the hub’s infrastructure as a critical catalyst for its exceptional performance.
The company has achieved accumulated sales of KRW 2.75 billion and secured a KRW 3 billion Pre-Series A investment at a valuation of KRW 23.5billion. Furthermore, it is actively committed to revitalizing the regional economy and ensuring job stability, having added 15 new hires compared to the same period last year.
The company is also leading major partnerships across private, industrial, academic and research sectors, such as AI Infrastructure co-research with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and GPU cluster integration with Korea Automotive Technology Institute. It has also set a benchmark for excellence in collaboration by participating in the ‘2025 NAVER Cloud and Seoul Startup Hub Open Innovation’ program.
Officials from A stated, “Systematic support from Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu enabled us to focus intensively on technology advancement and business expansion. Building on our selection for the 2026 Super-Gap Startup Project and Pre-Series A investment, we aim to lead the global AI infrastructure market by offering a cost-effective, robust distributed GPU cloud solution to AI companies around the world facing the challenges of high GPU infrastructure costs.”
